| Description: |
This course provides eligible prelicensure nursing learners with an opportunity to
complete additional direct focused client care experiences in approved healthcare
settings. Learners will apply previously developed nursing knowledge and skills while
strengthening clinical judgment, communication, prioritization, safety, and culturally
competent client-centered care. The course emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional
accountability, teamwork and collaboration, care coordination, and the application
of nursing competencies appropriate to the learner's level of progression. Learners
will participate in supervised direct focused client care activities designed to support
achievement of program outcomes and preparation for professional nursing practice. |
