Nightingale College’s Financial Aid Department recognizes that each learners has a unique financial situation. Various financial aid plans are available for qualified learners. After the interview with the Admissions Representative, applicants are required to meet briefly with a Financial Aid Advisor.
Don’t underestimate the benefits of meeting with a Financial Aid Advisor and discussing your personal financial aid options, but be sure to do your own research on scholarships and other financial aid assistance opportunities.
Tuition Waivers
Nightingale College offers two scholarships for eligible applicants, the Future of Nursing Scholarship and the Joining Forces Scholarship:
Future of Nursing Scholarship
The Future of Nursing Scholarship (FNS) program is designed to recognize academic excellence and community service among learners pursuing a degree in nursing at Nightingale College following high school graduation. Joining Forces Scholarship
The Joining Forces Scholarship is designed to assist servicemembers and veterans in achieving educational and professional goals. The scholarship will be automatically applied during the financial aid packaging process for qualified applicants. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other College scholarship or tuition waivers. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- be an active-duty or reserve member of the U.S. Uniformed Services, or
- be an honorably discharged or retired veteran, or
- be a spouse of an active-duty or reserve member of the U.S. Uniformed Services, and
- be enrolled in a degree program at the College and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00.
Tuition Reimbursement Program
Current Collaborators pursuing MSN Ed:
Reimbursement
- Current collaborators enrolled in the program can get up to $10,500 reimbursed while enrolled in the program, with the remainder of paid tuition reimbursed upon completing service requirement post-graduation
- Waive one year seniority requirement.
- Eligible upon successful completion of introductory period.
- Should pursue financial aid/scholarships
- Eligible for up to $5250 reimbursement for tuition only for each calendar year.
- All other requirements/conditions as currently specified in Collaborator Guidebook apply.
Graduates of our MSN Ed hired by Nightingale College:
Bonus
- Current collaborators enrolled in the program can get up to $10,500 reimbursed while enrolled in the program, with the remainder of paid tuition reimbursed upon completing service requirement post-graduation
- After 12 months of service and remaining in good standing, up to $5250.
- After the second 12 months of service, whatever amount is remaining up to $5250.

The American Legion Scholarships
The American Legion developed several scholarships that are open to any learner and learners that are kin of wartime veterans and participants in Legion programs.
Tylenol Future Care Scholarships
The Tylenol Scholarship is specifically created for learners pursuing an education in the health industry.
The Jumpstart Scholarship is available for 10th-12th-grade learners, college students, and nontraditional students.
These scholarships are only available to minority learners that are seeking a career in nursing.
Scholarships.com offers a variety of scholarships that are available to learners.
The Nursing Scholarships website offers a diverse collection of nursing scholarships.
Johnson & Johnson supplies scholarships to learners interested in a nursing career and includes a database of helpful insight to further your understanding of the nursing field.
American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)
The AACN provides learners with scholarship programs and useful links solely focused on financial aid resources.
FNSNA (The Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association) Scholarship Program
Start your scholarship search with the FNSNA and work toward placing an application to their scholarship program. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $7,500.

Military Finances
Montgomery GI Bill
Certain active duty servicemembers and reservists are entitled to receive a monthly education benefit once they have completed a minimum service obligation.
MyCAA
The My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship Program is a workforce development program that provides financial assistance to eligible military spouses who are pursuing a license, certification, or associate degree in a portable career field or occupation.
Post-9/11 GI Bill
Learners who have at least ninety (90) days of aggregate active duty service after Sept. 10, 2001, and either are currently on active duty or have been honorably discharged or discharged with a service-connected disability after thirty (30) days may be eligible for this Veterans Administration (VA) program. The program has several distinct components, including Yellow Ribbon.
Tuition Assistance
Military Tuition Assistance is a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, application processes, and restrictions. This money is usually paid directly to the institution by the specific military branch of service.w
Workforce/State Funding Finance Options
These funding finance options don’t have to be paid back.
Utah State Office of Rehabilitation (USOR)
Vocational Rehabilitation services are provided under the State Office of Rehabilitation through programs located in both the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) and Division of Services to the Blind and Visually Impaired (DSBVI).
Vocational Rehabilitation
A learner may receive vocational rehabilitation and employment services to help with job training, employment accommodations, resume development, and skills coaching. Other services may be provided to assist Veterans in starting their own businesses or independent living services for those who are severely disabled and unable to work in traditional employment.
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded program that provides support and training services to eligible customers. In Utah, WIOA is administered by the Department of Workforce Services. WIOA serves eligible adults, dislocated workers, and youth.
