Nightingale Education Group Named a 2026 Utah Top Workplaces Winner by Salt Lake Business Journal
SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 3, 2026 — Nightingale Education Group has been named a 2026 Utah Top Workplaces winner by the Salt Lake Business Journal. It is the first time the publication has recognized the organization. Only 57 Utah
organizations with more than 400 employees earned the honor this year.
The list is based solely on confidential employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey from Energage. The questionnaire measures themes such as feeling respected, supported, enabled to grow and empowered to execute.
Nightingale Education Group ranked No. 1 overall in its size category. Employees also ranked it No. 1 on 12 survey statements, including “Nightingale Education Group does a great job of prioritizing employee well-being,” “Nightingale Education Group operates by strong values,” and “I would highly recommend working at Nightingale Education Group to others.”
“Our headquarters is here in Utah, so being recognized by the Salt Lake Business Journal
means a great deal to us. We will keep working to earn that recommendation,” said
Mike Sorensen, Chief Collaborator Experience Officer, Nightingale Education Group.
“When employees tell us they feel trusted, supported and able to grow, they show us
that a better world begins with how we treat one another.”
When asked why they love their jobs, Nightingale employees said:
- “I feel a deep sense of purpose and meaning behind my work. There are so many opportunities to improve and grow.” — Employee, Mission Support
- “I love my job because I am empowered and trusted to make a meaningful impact for our learners every day.” — Employee, Government Funding Management
- “I get to do what I love while having a good work-life balance. I could work here until I was 70 without feeling like I had to give it up.” — Employee, Quality and Vendor Relations
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard.”
The recognition adds to a year of honors for the Nightingale Education Group in 2026, including: being ranked No. 1 in Nurse.com’s Top Workplaces for Nursing, earning a USA Today Top Workplaces award, eight Culture Excellence & Industry Awards, and a Top Workplaces for Higher Education honor from The Princeton Review.
