Reminiscing on the Summer 2019 Commencement Ceremony

Summer 2019 Commencement took place on Friday, September 6th at Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown City Creek. We had 52 of our 76 summer graduates attend. Of our 76 summer graduates, we had 72 ADN Program graduates, 3 RN-to-BSN Program graduates and our very FIRST BSN Program graduate!

The class valedictorian was Michelle Rydalch from the Roy DDC. The Flame! Forward! Award recipient was Ashley Reynolds from the St. George DDC. The class had two learner ambassadors: Hadlie Mair from the Draper DDC and Virginia Ball from the Pocatello DDC. Five of the graduates are veterans who received the Nightingale College Commemorative Veteran Alumni Coin.

Vice President Thomas Reams presented the honors to the graduates. Pocatello Lead Faculty Hailey Jenkins followed Thomas with the pinning ceremony, lamp lighting ceremony and nursing pledge.

President and CEO Mikhail Shneyder ended the ceremony with an uplifting leadership address followed by presentation of diploma and deferring of degrees.

Congratulations, graduates! We are so proud of all that you have accomplished and cannot wait to see what you do as nurses.
