Nightingale Education Group Ranks Among Nation’s Best Remote Workplaces

Nightingale Education Group, a nationwide provider of nursing education and workforce development, has been named a 2025 Remote Work Top Workplaces award winner by Energage, an HR technology company. The award recognizes employers that excel in fostering engagement, connection and belonging among distributed teams. Nightingale ranked second among similarly sized companies in the U.S.

The award is based entirely on confidential feedback from employees and celebrates workplaces that build meaningful cultures beyond physical walls. Nightingale’s survey results ranked among the highest nationally in key areas such as well-being, inclusion, leadership, trust and meaningful work, reflecting the organization’s intentional approach to remote culture and collaboration.

“At Nightingale, our culture is defined by purpose not proximity,” said Mike Sorensen, chief collaborator experience officer at Nightingale Education Group. “We’ve built a remote culture rooted in growth mindset, transparency and trust that empowers people to bring their full selves to work and collaborate meaningfully from anywhere.”

Nightingale employs collaborators (employees) across the U.S. who support over 8,000 nursing students nationwide. The organization’s remote-first model allows teams to recruit and retain diverse talent while fostering flexibility and well-being.
