National Nurses Week was created in 1993 by the American Nurses Association (ANA). National Nurses Week starts on May 6, National Student Nurses Day, and concludes May 12, the date of Florence Nightingale’s birthday. It is time to celebrate and recognize the nurses who have, are, and will serve our communities and drive positive health forward.

Nightingale College’s vision is Better Health & Better Humanity for a Better World, a goal that is not fully achievable without the influence and efforts of the nation’s everyday nurses. We are proud to be in the field of higher education and educating the future nurse leaders. Happy Nurses Week!
