Nightingale College Graduates 2023

2024 Graduation Celebration

2024 Graduation Celebration

Fall (December) 2023 through Summer (August) 2024 graduates, you are invited to attend:

Nightingale College’s Graduation Celebration 2024
Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City
170 S W Temple, Salt Lake City, UT  84101
Friday, August 30, 2024 | 2:00 p.m. (Mountain Time)

The Graduation Celebration is your opportunity to walk across the stage and be celebrated for your achievements as a Nightingale College graduate in front of family and friends. The ceremony will include remarks by a guest speaker, walking across the stage, and the turning of the tassel. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony. An optional Pinning Ceremony will be held an hour prior to the Graduation Celebration at the Hyatt Regency.

This celebration is separate from the commencement ceremony, which is held virtually each semester for graduating cohorts. Because the conferral of degrees and lighting of the lamp take place during the virtual commencement ceremony, these will NOT be part of the in-person Graduation Celebration. We understand that different elements of each ceremony may be important to different learners. You are welcome to attend either the in-person Graduation Celebration, the virtual commencement ceremony for your graduating cohort, or both.

The Graduation Celebration will be broadcast online.

Optional Pinning Ceremony 1:00 p.m. (Mountain Time)

We will have an optional Pinning Ceremony at the Hyatt Regency one hour prior to the Graduation Celebration, led by the Director of Nursing Education. Learners will recite the Nursing Pledge and be pinned by a person the graduate has selected who has made a significant difference in their life. Only the graduate and the person pinning them* may attend the ceremony, however the ceremony will be broadcast both on location and online for other guests who are not in the room.

Please bring your own pin, which was sent to you in the graduation box. If you forget your pin, they will be available to purchase on site.

*If the pinner is a child, another adult may accompany them for the pinning.
