Nightingale College DLPT Policy

Nightingale College welcomes learners from a wide variety of backgrounds and learning experiences. We recognize servicemember’s prior learning by accepting Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) transcripts that show credit for DLPT 3rd, 4th, and 5th version tests.

Servicemembers may earn up to six Humanities transfer credits.

To have credit posted to your Nightingale College academic record, please follow these steps:

1. Print and complete the first section of the Application for Defense Language Proficiency Tests (DLPT) Transfer Credit Form. Click here to print the DLPT Transfer Credit Form.
2. Attach an official copy of your DLPT transcript.
3. Submit completed application and DLPT transcript to the Admissions Office.
